A Level Results Day is one of the major 'events' in the calendar of any school. For students who have been a part of the school community for up to 7 years, the day represents the culmination of their academic life thus far. The school is pleased to report that the results show excellent 'significant-value-added' statistics for West Bridgford Post-16 Centre and give staff a strong indication that their teaching is adapting well to the changing educational landscape. For instance, this year saw an astonishing 73% of our 58 A Level Mathematicians, gain an A or A* grade! More importantly are the individual stories of success. The 3 students in the cover image for this story, Jonathan, Stephen and Olivia, gained 13A* grades between them, in a broad range of subjects. This year we have seen 6 students get accepted to Oxbridge, 3 students make it into medical schools, and the vast majority of students gain places at excellent Universities or other destinations such as apprenticeships or work. Well done to them all, and we wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavours.
