History
The GCSE History course covers a range of exciting and challenging issues tracing the turbulent relations between countries in the 20th century, a study of Modern History in depth, a study of key developments in British History over a long period and a British Depth Study including the study of a Historic Environment (A Castle, Abbey, Cathedral, Manor House or Stately Home).

Paper 1
Secton A: Period Study of a country's Modern History (America 1920-1973, Opportunity and Inequality)
Section B: A study of Conflict and tension in the 20th Century. (Conflict and Tension between the East & West, 1945-1972).
Paper 2
Section A - Thematic study of an aspect of British History over c1000 years. (Health and the People c1000 to present day)
Section B - A study of a shorter period of British History within the years 1066 and 1685. (Restoration England 1660-1685)
