FANTASTIC GCSE RESULTS FOR WEST BRIDGFORD

GCSE Results Day is a time that everybody looks forward to with equal measures of  excitement and nerves. However the pupils of West Bridgford School have done themselves proud for another consecutive year of stunning grades. Mr Tim Peacock, Headteacher, said 'The school treasures every single one of its pupils, and to see them rewarded with such excellent grades is nothing more than their efforts deserve. Across the academic ability range our pupils have performed far beyond their national benchmark expectations. Their smiles and happy tears never cease to move me. Well done to them all. Families across West Bridgford can rightly celebrate tonight. We now look forward to them, continuing their education with us, in our Post-16 Centre. '

Special congratulations to Samuel Liew for an outstanding achievement of nine GCSE grade 9s across his subjects. This after achieving a stunning A* for an early entry to A Level Further Maths last week.

Natalie Masterson, Assistant Head, said 'We are hugely proud of our Year 11 pupils. They have all worked exceptionally hard to achieve these excellent GCSE results. I have been their Year Director since they started in Year 7; it has been a privilege for me to see the year group flourish throughout their time at secondary school. They are an extremely talented bunch of all rounders, excelling in Art, Drama, Music and Sport alongside their academic achievements. I wish them all the very best for the future.'
