FINANCE DIRECTOR

Scale PO10 (£51,641 to £54,650)

37 hours per week, all year round

Based at The West Bridgford School, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham

The East Midlands Education Trust are seeking to appoint a fully qualified Finance Director to manage and develop our financial service and strategy as we expand from six to fifteen schools during the current academic year. In this key role you will report directly to the CEO and Trustees, ensuring the financial probity of the Trust, while taking on a change management role leading the strategic development of our finance function.

You must be able to work autonomously at a strategic level with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to manage conflicting demands. Experience of working within an Education setting or with Education partners would be advantageous, but is not essential.

In return, you will receive 27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. We would be open to discussions around flexible working for the right candidate.

FULL TIME TEACHER OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The West Bridgford School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and charismatic teacher of boys PE to join an outstanding department with excellent academic and sporting success. The successful candidate will be required to teach PE throughout Key Stages 3 and 4 including examination groups and have the ability to teach A Level.  We are seeking to appoint a forward thinking individual who will be able to teach in an innovative and dynamic environment; maintain and expand the current extensive extra-curricular provision; and be fully committed to helping students achieve high standards of success.  It is essential that the successful candidate has a strong knowledge and experience teaching a wide range of sports with the ability to teach one team sport to a high standard.

Sport Development Co-ordinator and Departmental Assistant

Term Time Only

Scale 5 Points 22 to 25 (£20,661 – £22,658 Pro-Rata (Actual salary will be £17,402 - £19,085))

The West Bridgford School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, sport-qualified individual to coordinate and develop the school’s Extra-Curricular sports provision, supporting the PE Department and working in partnership with local primary and secondary schools.

Due to the nature of the role the job holder will be working with students within and beyond the school day, the core hours of work are 37 hours a week (8am until 4pm) however start and end times may vary due to the needs of the school therefore the candidate will require a flexible approach to working hours.
