The key to effective revision is variety. Students already have an arsenal of resources at their disposal. In recent years, YouTube has emerged to become a big part of many student’s schedules, with content creators producing revision videos to help students. This is why I have created ‘Foster’s Physics’. A YouTube channel, which runs parallel to our GCSE (and soon A Level), physics courses at The West Bridgford School. The channel contains a growing number of short videos on key aspects of the curriculum, and many include follow up questions to test knowledge and retention.
I have long been a proponent of internet based revision, and particularly YouTube, as I firmly believe it to be a powerful, and modern tool in a student’s toolbox. Check out ‘Foster’s Physics’ for bite size chunks of active revision!
